( Gearing up for a flight out of town, Taylor Lautner was spotted getting dropped off at LAX Airport in Los Angeles on Sunday (December 6). )

Just a day before playing a kickass show at The Dome in Northgate last night, The Killers were asked to leave a Joburg restaurant because they were such divas… and left the irate owner with an unpaid bill of R3 000!

And to add to the intrigue, reps for the band deny that they even went to Cantina Tequila in Linden on Wednesday night. Only problem is, heat was there, and here are the pictures to prove it...

Cantina owner Gerhard Schoonraad told heat that he got a call around 6pm on Wednesday. "I was asked to keep aside a VIP table for The Killers," he says. "Two band members arrived at around 10pm along with a chaperone and some other guests. They ordered vodka, Jagermeister and Coronas."

Saturday Night Live" is making headlines for featuring a skit over the weekend, which parodied domestic violence.

On Saturday night's episode, the NBC sketch comedy show made light of Tiger Woods' scandalous week, satirizing reports - denied by the golfer - that his wife, Elin Nordegren, attacked him prior to his early-morning car accident on November 27 with a sketch featuring Keenan Thomson and host Blake Lively.

However, the show's musical guest was Rihanna - a victim of domestic violence earlier this year from then-boyfriend Chris Brown -- prompting concerns from several media outlets that the show's humor was insensitive from some corners.

"It was another sketch that gave us pause," noted PopEater in an article titled "'SNL' Lampoons Alleged Violence in Tiger Woods' Marriage," on Sunday. "We think, had the genders been reversed, 'SNL' wouldn't make light of the potentially violent situation."

Female-oriented site Jezebel called the sketch one of the show's "obvious missteps... when you consider that Rihanna was the night's musical guest."

While over on The TV Squad blog, a writer called out the Rihanna connection.

"As soon as this sketch started, I immediately thought, 'Oh, no! Stop the sketch! Rihanna might see,'" adding, "Had the tables been turned and a man was suspected of beating up his wife, there definitely wouldn't be a lighthearted sketch like this. But since it's female-on-male domestic violence, our current culture deems it kind of, sort of okay to make fun of and the scandal had to be addressed before it lost heat."

And commenters on sites including Entertainment Weekly and The Huffington Post also raised their voices over the sketch.

"The Tiger Woods sketch was terrible. Domestic abuse is NOT funny. It was even more awkward since Rihanna was there," a commenter named Lindsey noted on EW.com.

"Emotional and Physical violence is toxic and not funny," thelipstickfemme wrote on TheHuffingtonPost.com.

WASHINGTON (AP) — With a little help from Carol Burnett, a new star from the hit TV show "Glee" and other top entertainers, political Washington is saluting five of the nation's top artists with the Kennedy Center Honors this weekend.

A surprise list of star performers will honor Bruce Springsteen, Robert De Niro and comic genius Mel Brooks Sunday night during a show attended by President Barack Obama and other power players from Washington and Hollywood.

Also receiving the honors — which recognize individuals who have defined American culture through the arts as a living memorial to John F. Kennedy — are jazz pianist and composer Dave Brubeck and opera singer Grace Bumbry.

"It's different than everything else," Springsteen, 60, said of the award Saturday night at a State Department dinner honoring the group. "We worked really hard for our music to be part of American life and our fans' lives. So it's an acknowledgment that you've kind of threaded your way into the culture in a certain way. It's satisfying."

The show will air nationwide Dec. 29 on CBS.

State Department officials would not say whether security for Saturday's event had been heightened after a Virginia couple recently sneaked into a White House State dinner. The gala Sunday is Obama's first big event since Micheale and Tareq Salahi slipped past White House security Nov. 24.

Rachel Uchitel, the Manhattan nightclub hostess linked to Tiger Woods, was none too happy when she first heard about other women whom the golf great may have been seeing.

According to a friend, “Rachel was mad at Tiger when she found out about the other girls and did not speak to him for three days, but he texted her…She is telling friends that he doesn’t blame her for this all getting out.”

Angry or not, Uchitel wasn’t naïve about dating a celebrity. “She was going out with other guys while she was with Tiger,” says the source. “There wasn’t a huge loyalty with it.”

However, adds the source, “Rachel has strong feelings for Tiger. She was very into him – much more than other famous guys she was into. She started out for sport and then they clicked.”

While Uchitel has publicly denied an affair with Woods, that wasn’t the case in private. “She went from initially not denying it to vehemently denying it,” says the source. “At first she was nonchalant about it. She was running around telling everyone…Everyone who knows her, knows about this.”
